Meet the Team
Rachel Adamson-Brown (Left) and Steph Durkin (Right) are the proud Co-Directors of Cockahoop Creative CIC. With 35 years’ collective experience across theatre and arts education, they bring a wealth of insight, creative approaches and courage into every space they work in.
Proudly born and bred in the North East, Steph and Rachel are focused on making high-quality arts and culture accessible to everyone. They are passionate about breaking down barriers and using theatre in inventive, co-created ways to spark learning, open dialogues, and inspire positive change.
At Cockahoop Creative CIC, we champion theatre as a tool for understanding each other, building confidence and creating meaningful connection. Our plan is always to place people at the heart of our projects, using creative approaches to unlock potential, strengthen communities and make a lasting impact.
